Afrin blast | Nearly 20 people killed and wounded in today’s car-bomb attack

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of three persons and injury of nearly 16 others in car-bomb explosion near Kawa roundabout in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in north-western Aleppo.

 

SOHR sources have just reported hearing a loud explosion in Afrin city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and the factions of “Olive Spring” operations room in north-western Aleppo. The explosion was caused by the detonation of a car-bomb near Al-Haal market near the city’s industrial area, which caused substantial material damage and left many casualties, as rescue teams were rushing to help the wounded.

 

Observatory activists documented earlier this afternoon a spike in death toll of today’s car-bomb explosion in Al-Bab city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies in north-eastern Aleppo. According to SOHR sources, five people were killed, including the head of Beza’a police outpost, while 19 others were injured, some seriously, as a result of a car-bomb explosion near Qabaseen junction in Al-Bab city.
