Turkish-backed factions’ violations | Several civilian houses looted and burned down in rural Abu Rasin

Reliable SOHR sources have reported that Turkish-backed militiamen have burned down several houses in Bab Al-Faraj village which is under the control of al-Mu’tasim Division in rural Abu Rasin in Al-Hasakah countryside, after looting these houses’ contents and power cables.

On Sunday, Turkish-backed militiamen stole the collections of the Syriac Orthodox Church of “Mar Tuma” (Saint Thomas) in Al-Kana’es neighbourhood in “Peace Spring” areas in rural Al-Hasakah.

According to local sources, the stolen collections included metal and copper objects and electronic devices.

Meanwhile, the Turkish-backed militiamen claimed that the church’s collections were stolen by local thieves.

On the other hand, the factions seized more farmlands in “Peace Spring” areas, with the help of villages’ headmen, and prevented the owners of farmlands near the frontlines with SDF from cultivating their land or getting close to them. Moreover, the factions were looting the remaining agriculture equipment and machines there.
