Darra | Unidentified gunmen target regime Air-Force Intelligence checkpoint in central countryside

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that unidentified gunmen targeted, in the early hours of the morning, the southern checkpoint of the town of Da’il, which belongs to the regime forces in the central sector of the countryside of Darra. No casualties have been reported so far. It is worth nothing that the targeted checkpoint affailiated with Air-Force Intelligence.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, landmines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from last June to date, to more than 775 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 510 persons, 143 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 15 children, in addition to 221 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

99 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 23 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 24 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
