Security chaos in Idlib province | Unknown gunmen kidnap accountant in al-Sham Corps, stealing large amount of cash

Idlib province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen stopped a car belonging to the Islamic “al-Sham Corps” close to Turkey, in the town of Al-Foua near the city of Idlib, and kidnapped the accountant of the Corps and then threw him in the area of Jabal al-Zawiya, about 40 kilometers from the site of kidnapping, passing dozens of security checkpoints.

According to al-Sham Corps, the gunmen stole a large sum of money from the accountant responsible for distributing the allocations of military headquarters and the salaries of al-Sham Corps members, before leaving for an unknown destination.

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that unknown gunmen shot dead a young man in Tal’ada town in north-western Idlib, near the Syria border with Iskenderun region. According to SOHR sources, two of the victim’s brothers were also assassinated earlier for unknown reasons.
