Al-Hawl camp | Unknown gunmen assassinate Iraqi refugee “collaborating” with Asayish forces

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented the death of an Iraqi refugee, after being shot by unknown gunmen, but believed to be of ISIS cells, in Al-Hawl camp in the south-east of Al-Hasakah. It is worth noting that the gunmen shot dead the refugee with a silenced gun in front of his tent in the camp’s third section.

On November 28, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, assassinated an Iraqi refugee in the fourth section of Al-Hawl camp in the south-eastern countryside of Hasakeh.

According to SOHR sources, the victim used to selling bread for the “Civil Administration” of al-Hawl camp. It is worth noting that this assassination was the fourth one that targeted Iraqi refugees cooperating with SDF and the Civil Administration in Al-Hawl camp since early November.
