Security chaos in SDF-held areas | Unknown assailants target SDF military checkpoint in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside

Deir ez-Zor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unidentified gunmen targeted a military checkpoint of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on the bridge of Al-Busayrah city in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, but no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle targeted, yesterday, a “Self-Defense” checkpoint in the village of Jadid Bakara in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor. No casualties were reported.

Areas of Deir ez-Zor countryside are witnessing a surge in ISIS attacks, which target the SDF and its security checkpoints.

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) stormed a house in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The security forces arrested a person for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, SOHR activists monitored intensive flights of helicopters of the International Coalition over the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor during SDF raid.
