Joint patrols | Russian police and Turkish forces tour surrounding areas of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing Russian police and Turkish forces conducting a new joint patrol in areas to the west of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol which comprises four Russian vehicles and four other Turkish ones has set off from Ashmeh village in western Kobani, and it is supposed to tour the villages of Jarqili, Qarran, Saleeb, Boban, Saftak, Sosan, Qoulla, Bayander, Mashku and Jabnah, then it will return to Ashmeh village again.

 

On November 30, Observatory activists monitored Turkish and Russian forces running a new joint patrol in the countryside of Hasakeh. Four Russian vehicles and four Turkish ones set off from Sherik border crossing with Turkey in the western countryside of Darbasiyyah, and headed towards the villages of Delek, Malak, Abbas, Aliya, Dahir al-Arab and Kissrah in northern countryside of Abu Racine. The patrol was escorted by two Russian helicopters.
