Infiltration operation | Kurdish forces kill Turkish officer and wound other soldiers in northern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that a Turkish officer was killed and three other soldiers were injured in an infiltration operation by Kurdish forces on Basufan and Kafr Khasher frontlines in the northern countryside of Aleppo in the early hours of Thursday morning.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning an infiltration attempt by Kurdish forces in the early hours of Thursday morning into positions of Turkish-backed factions in Kafr Khasher area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where clashes erupted between both sides.

The clashes coincided with intensive Turkish rocket attacks on the conflict zones and other positions in the Kurdish-controlled villages of Mar’naz, Baylouniyyah, Burj Al-Qas and Masiyyah.

Meanwhile, the Kurdish forces responded to the Turkish rocket fire by shelling the Turkish base in Kimar in rural Afrin. However, no casualties due to the clashes or exchange of fire were reported so far.
