“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces shell towns and villages in southern Idlib, while reconnaissance drones continue flying over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Friday morning, targeting positions in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen, Fulayfel, Al-Bara and Halloubah in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Qulaydeen in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama. No casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, SOHR activists have monitored ongoing flights by reconnaissance drones believed to be of the International Coalition for hours.

Yesterday, Observatory activists reported that a rebel died of his wounds sustained in clashes a day earlier with regime forces on frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside.

Also, regime forces renewed ground bombardment on areas in south Idlib countryside, targeting the villages of Al-Fatera and Fulayfel with artillery shells. Meanwhile, the factions shelled with a guided missile a rocket launch pad and fortifications of regime forces on frontline of Basarton village, west of Aleppo.
