“De-escalation zone” | New round of bombardment and attacks starts in Aleppo, Hama and Idlib countryside

Regime forces started a new round of ground bombardment in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting positions in Kansafra, Al-Bara, Al-Fterah, Sfuhen, Fulayfel and Bayanin in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces and opposition factions traded fire on frontlines of Sheikh Salman area in the western countryside of Aleppo. Moreover, regime forces targeted positions on Al-Ankawi frontlines in the north-western countryside of Hama with heavy machineguns. No casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists reported renewed regime bombardment on the “de-escalation zone”, targeting with heavy artillery positions in Kansafra town and Al-Faterah and Sfuhen villages in southern Idlib, Al-Ankawi and Qulaydeen in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama. No casualties were reported.
