Fearing imminent Turkish military operation | Residents flee from Ain Issa, north of Raqqa

Al-Raqqah Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored jets and helicopters flying over the area of Ain Issa, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces in northern countryside of Raqqa, amid a new exodus of civilians from the area to other areas, fearing an imminent military operation by Turkish forces and proxy factions on Ain Issa, especially in light of the major military escalation in the area such as daily shelling, exchange of fire and infiltration attempts.

On November 28, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the arrival of Russian forces in areas hit by Turkish rocket fire in the town of Ain Issa in northern countryside of Raqqa, which is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, coinciding with the displacement of the people from the area in light of the ongoing military escalation by Turkish forces and their proxy factions, without any reaction from the Russians.
