After reports of casualties among Turkish forces | Turkish helicopter lands in rural Al-Hasakah and ambulances leave the Turkish base

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syria Democratic Forces shelled yesterday Turkish military posts in Bab Al-Khair and Al-Dawudiyyah bases in Al-Hasakah countryside. SOHR sources have confirmed that several military personnel injured, amid reports of the death of two Turkish soldiers and injury of others in Bab Al-Khair base, after being hit with a guided missile.

In this context, SOHR activists have monitored a Turkish helicopter landing in Al-Hasakah countryside in “Peace Spring” areas, while ambulances were seen leaving the Turkish base this morning.

According to SOHR sources, the intensive Turkish bombardment on positions of SDF and regime forces was a reaction to attacking the Turkish soldiers.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning, civilian exodus from the villages and towns of Abu Rasin “Zarkan” to eastern villages and towns, for fear of Turkish recent escalating shelling on the area.

Meanwhile, Observatory activists had monitored Turkish rocket attacks on the villages and towns of Dada Abdal, Nuwehat, Safa, Haji Boubi, Tal Harmel, and the frontline and outskirts of Zarkan. The shelling caused material damage to civilian homes, and injured two regime soldiers.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that Turkish military bases in the “Peace Spring” areas shelled places near regime positions on the outskirts of Abu Rasin (Zarkan) town in Al-Hasakah countryside, along with clashes with medium and heavy weapons between SDF and Turkish-backed factions, on frontlines of Dada Abdal, Nuihat, Basis and Mutamura in the same area.
