Russia’s military build-up | Forces bring in reinforcement to their base in Tal Al-Samin, north of Raqqa

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored Russian forces bringing in military reinforcement to their base in the Tal al-Samin area in northern countryside of Raqqa province. The reinforcement included vehicles loaded with military equipment and soldiers, without knowing the reasons.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists monitored renewed Turkish bombardment on Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan), targeting an ammunition depot and regime military posts in Harmalah village in rural Al-Hasakah, completely destroying them, amid reports of casualties among the depot’s guards. Also an artillery shell fell on civilian houses in the area, causing material damage.

On the other hand, SOHR sources reported that regime forces brought in military reinforcement, including heavy weapons and tanks, from their positions on the back lines to the frontlines in Abu Rasin countryside for unknown reasons.
