Afrin | Displaced person from Damascus found dead, after kidnapping by unknown gunmen

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: As a part of the ongoing violations in Afrin city and countryside, including the proliferation of weapons, kidnapping gangs and arbitrary arrests by Turkish-backed factions, a man from Al-Maydan neighbourhood, Damascus, was found dead, after having a heart attack, near Sharran town in the countryside of Afrin city in the north-western countryside of Aleppo. The body of the dead man was found with another person who was still alive, as the two men had been kidnapped nearly a week ago.

Yesterday, a child was found dead in farmlands in Al-Hamam village of Afrin in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No further details were reported.
