“Al-Hawl mini-state” | Unknown assailants assassinate Iraqi refugee “collaborating” with Asayish forces
Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: As individual liquidations are escalating in “Al-Hawl mini-state”, targeting “collaborators” with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and women who refuse to follow Islam’s strict doctrines ordered by female ISIS members and top commanders held in the camp, SOHR activists have documented the assassination of an Iraqi refugee today in front of his tent in the camp’s first section.
According to SOHR sources, the victim was a “collaborator” with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish). While this incident is the sixth of its kind to target Iraqi refugees collaborating with SDF and Al-Hawl Camp’s civil administration since early November.
On December 1, SOHR activists documented the death of an Iraqi refugee, after being shot by unknown gunmen, but believed to be of ISIS cells, in Al-Hawl camp in the south-east of Al-Hasakah. It is worth noting that the gunmen shot dead the refugee with a silenced gun in front of his tent in the camp’s third section.
Similarly, on November 28, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, assassinated an Iraqi refugee in the fourth section of Al-Hawl camp in the south-eastern countryside of Hasakeh.
