Joint patrols | Russian and Turkish forces conduct new patrol Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

SOHR activists have reported seeing Russian forces and their Turkish counterpart conducting new joint patrol in the eastern countryside of Ain al-Arab “Kobani”.  The patrol consisted of eight armored vehicles, accompanied by two Russian helicopters. The vehicles set off from the village of Ghraib east of Kobane, and roamed the villages and towns of Qara Moug, Jishan, Kharabisan Fouqani and Baghdik all the way to the village of Bandarkhan in western countryside of Tel Abyad and then returned to the starting point.

On December 3, Syrian Observatory activists reported seeing Russian police and Turkish forces conducting a new joint patrol in areas to the west of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani). The patrol which comprises four Russian vehicles and four other Turkish ones has set off from Ashmeh village in western Kobani, and it is supposed to tour the villages of Jarqili, Qarran, Saleeb, Boban, Saftak, Sosan, Qoulla, Bayander, Mashku and Jabnah, then it will return to Ashmeh village again.
