For third day in a row | Frontlines of northern rural Aleppo witness sporadic shelling, and clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions

Aleppo Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that Turkish forces and proxy factions shelled the villages of Aqlamiya, Al-Malikiya and Maranaz in Sharan area within areas held by Kurdish forces, north of Aleppo, coinciding with sporadic clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on these frontlines. No casualties have been reported so far.

It is worth nothing that the frontlines in northern countryside of Aleppo have been witnessing clashes and exchange of fire between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions for the third day in a row.

Yesterday, Turkish forces and their proxy factions renewed artillery fire on Kurdish-controlled areas, targeting positions in Sawaghanka village of Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo.

The shelling coincided with clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on several front lines in the same region, along with sporadic clashes and shelling on frontlines of Mar’naz in Azaz city. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the shelling and clashes.

Two days ago, SOHR sources reported artillery fire by Turkish-backed factions on Mar’naz and Aqlamiyyah villages of Sharra district in Afrin countryside, which are under the control of Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
