Security chaos in Afrin areas | Civilian injured in clashes between Turkish-backed factions

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a civilian from the village of Medanki in Afrin countryside was injured today, as a result of clashes with machine guns between Turkish-backed factions, following a dispute over the seizure of a house belong to the people of the village. The dispute has evolved into armed clashes, while factions’ members and elders of the region intervened to resolve the dispute between the factions of the “Elite Forces” and “Men of War”.

SOHR activists have documented the death of a member of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement affected by the injury he had in yesterday’s clashes in Jendires district in rural Afrin between members of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement on one hand, and gunmen from Rif Dimashq backed by “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement on the other. The clashes had also left another member from Rif Dimashq and affiliated to “Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement” dead, while other fighters and civilians sustained various injuries.
