Using Molotov cocktails | Unknown assailants try to burn down the “Kurdistan Unity Party” office in Ain al-Arab (Kobani)

SOHR activists say that an armed group tried to burn down the office of the “Kurdistan Unity Party” in Ain al-Arab (Kobani) by throwing Molotov cocktails at the entrance to the building, but did not reach the interior, after civilians rushed to put it out. The Kurdistan Unity Party is considered one of the parties of the Kurdish National Council. 

SOHR sources said earlier today that a group, believed to be affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), stormed today the headquarters of the “Kurdistan Democratic Unity Party in Syria” in the city of al-Hasakeh, completely destroying its equipment and setting the place on fire after tampering with its contents.

Reliable sources in Amuda area have informed the Syrian Observatory that unknown assailants burned down, On Monday evening, a headquarters of the Kurdish National Council in Amuda area.

Meanwhile, blame is once again pointed at “Al-Shabiba Al-Thawriyah” for carrying out the attack which comes only one day after yesterday’s attack on the Council in Al-Darbasiyyah.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen opened fire on the headquarters of the “Kurdish National Council” in Al-Darbasiyyah, yesterday, and sabotaged its contents before they escapade. The attack caused material damage in the headquarters which was closed in the evening.

Moreover, blame is pointed at “Al-Shabiba Al-Thawriyah” for carrying out the attack which comes only one day after clashes between the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and “Peshmerga Forces of Rojava” in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The clashes, which SDF and Autonomous Administration cautioned against during meetings with the relatives of Syrian fighters in “Peshmerga Forces of Rojava”, left one fighter of Kurdistan Workers’ Party and one fighter of “Peshmerga Forces of Rojava” dead.
