Al-Mayadeen | “Al-Mahdi Scout Centre” holds training course for learning children the art of “Radoud”

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: The Iranians continue trying to instill their ideologies into the segments of Syrian society, particularly children, in areas under the control of Iranian militias in Syria, exploiting the deteriorating economic situation.

 

In this context, reliable sources have informed SOHR that “Al-Mahdi Scout Centre” held a training course for 12 children studying in schools supervised by the “Iranian Cultural Centre” in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, with the aim to learn them the art of “Radoud”, also known as “Al-Latmiyyat Al-Shi’yah” (self flagellation: a religious ritual practiced by Shiite community). The course was under the supervision of the “Iranian Cultural Centre”

 

According to SOHR sources, the “Iranian Cultural Centre” offers 250,000 SYL to every children attends this course.

 

On December 5, SOHR sources reported that the “Iranian Cultural Centre” in Deir Ezzor city arranged a trip for school students to “Al-Asdeqaa park” in Hawija Sakr area. This development came as a part of the Iranians’ attempts to impress residents and instill their ideology in the Syrian society in areas under their control in Deir Ezzor province.
