After criticizing local council’s work on social media | HTS arrests logistics office director of organization operating in Idlib

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that HTS arrested the director of the “logistics office” within the organization “Union of Revolutionary Offices” in the town of Salqin in Rural Idlib, following a lawsuit filed by the Local Council in Kafrenbel against him, as he criticized the work of the Council through a post on his personal account on social media sites.

SOHR activists just said that HTS has released today a leader of jihadist groups, who was arrested less than a week ago in Idlib province.

On December 11, SOHR sources reported that security services of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested a military commander of “Ansar Al-Din” group in Idlib city yesterday. HTS sources have confirmed that the military commander was arrested for several accusations which are not related to his ties with the group, but no further details were revealed.

It is worth noting that the arrested commander served in the ranks of Ansar Al-Din group while operating under the banner of “Wa Harred al-Mu’minin” and “Fa Ithbatu” operations rooms with other jihadi factions, before HTS disbanded these operations rooms.
