Deir ez-Zor | Unidentified persons target American base with mortars, and others try to assassinate protection official of oil wells in countryside

Deir ez-Zor province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unknown persons fired several mortars at the U.S. base in “al-Omar oil field” in Deir ez-Zor countryside this evening. Meanwhile, the U.S. forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces were put on high alert and combed the area around the field with medium and heavy weapons. No casualties have been reported so far.

On the other hand, unidentified assailants targeted a car carrying a protection official of oil wells near Bir al-Azraq near al-Tanak oil field, north-east of Deir ez-Zor. The attack left no casualties.

SOHR sources said earlier this evening that a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) was injured today, as a Hummer military vehicle was targeted by RPG fired by unknown gunmen, near the water station in the town of Al-Shuhayl in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
