“De-escalation zone” | Tense calm prevails since last night

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” since last night, interrupted by several rockets fired by regime forces, targeting frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib and Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama. No casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported intensive rocket fire by regime forces on several frontlines in the western countryside of Aleppo, along with the flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the region. The regime rocket fire coincided with the deployment of Turkish troops on M4 highway for unknown reasons.
