North of Aleppo | Two Turkish-backed fighters injured in IED explosion in Afrin countryside

Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a member of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya and his companion were injured today, as a result of an IED explosion in a military vehicle in Ma’abatli area in the city of Afrin, which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that a young man has died of his wounds sustained during clashes on December 14, in the Janderas area west of Afrin, which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions.

On December 14, SOHR activists documented the death of a member of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement affected by the injury he had in yesterday’s clashes in Jendires district in rural Afrin between members of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement on one hand, and gunmen from Rif Dimashq backed by “Ahrar Al-Sham” movement on the other. The clashes had also left another member from Rif Dimashq and affiliated to “Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement” dead, while other fighters and civilians sustained various injuries.
