With the end of Jabla FC and Tishreen FC match | IED explodes and several people injured in riots and vandalism in Jabla city

Local sources have reported an explosion in the city of Jabla, caused by detonating an IED by the regime’s security forces.

On the other hand, many people were injured in riots and vandalism after a football match between the teams of Jabla FC and Tishreen FC in the stadium of the city of Jabla in Latakia countryside, where security forces deployed throughout the city to disperse the fans of Jabla Club after the match.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory has monitored clashes between the clubs’ fans with stones and sticks, while fire trucks tried to disperse the crowd using water cannon and firing live ammunition in the air.

In late November, SOHR said that in the light of proliferation of arms and growing security chaos throughout Syria, reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that yesterday’s football match between Al-Sahel FC and Jableh FC within the Syrian Premier League on the “Municipal Stadium” in Tartus city experienced riots.

According to SOHR sources, a fan of Jableh FC threw a stun grenade on the fans of Al-Sahel FC in the 63rd minuet, just after the Jableh FC had scored the equalizing goal, injuring several people and igniting clashes with white arms between the fans of both teams. Regime security forces later interfered and fired bullets in the air in order to disperse the crowds.

It is worth noting that the matches of the Syrian Premier League are played with public presence despite coronavirus outbreaks across all Syrian provinces.
