Ain Issa | SOHR passes on appeals of Jahbal village’s people to recover two persons stuck under rubble of a destroyed house

The fate of the two men who have been buried under the rubble of a booby-trapped house in Jahbal village in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah, after the explosion of a landmine in the early hours of Friday morning, has yet to be known. Meanwhile, the residents are not able to get close the house to recover the two men due to the ongoing military operations in the area.

According to SOHR sources, at least one of the two men has been still alive until yesterday evening. While the village’s residents appeal, via SOHR, to the relevant bodies to recover the two men from under the rubble. It is worth noting that the residents uselessly begged to the Russian base in the area and SDF to rescue the men.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a landmine exploded in a booby-trapped house in Jahbal village, while uncertainty surrounds the fate of two persons of the same family living there.
