Death toll update | Yesterday’s armed fight between two tribes in Al-Raqqah city leaves four dead

Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have documented a spike in the number of fatalities in yesterday’s armed fight in Al-Raqqah city, as four people were killed in clashes between Al-Tawadifah and Al-Hulaybeen tribes in Mansour street in Al-Raqqah city centre.

 

According to SOHR sources, the clashes erupted after a dispute over the possession of pigeon, as the clashes started with using white weapons then evolved to armed fight, before SDF security services interfered and break up the fight between the two tribes.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that an armed fight erupted between Al-Tawadifah and Al-Hulaybeen tribes in Mansour street in Al-Raqqah city centre.

 

According to SOHR sources, the two sides used guns during the clashes which left two persons dead and several others injured, amid growing tension in Al-Raqqah city.
