Security campaign | Ex-ISIS commander among three people arrested by SDF and International Coalition in rural Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition helicopters, arrested two ex-ISIS members in Abriha village in Deir Ezzor countryside. SDF had arrested another ex-ISIS commander after storming his house in the same village, bringing the number of ISIS affiliates who have been arrested during today’s joint security campaign in Abriha village to three, including a former commander.

 

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that SDF, backed by International Coalition helicopters, arrested an ex-ISIS commander after storming his house in Abriha village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

On December 15, reliable source informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition helicopters, stormed several houses in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The security forces arrested three people running a river crossing used for smuggling goods between SDF-controlled areas and regime-held areas via the Euphrates river in Al-Shuhayl town.
