SDC initiative to evacuate Syrians from the camp  | 21 families from Deir Ezzor leave “Al-Hawl mini-state”

SOHR sources say that a new batch of families held in “Al-Hawl mini-state” in eastern Al-Hasakah have been released, under an initiative by Syria Democratic Council “SDC” to evacuate the Syrian from the camp, as 21 families of some 67 people from Deir Ezzor province left the camp today. It is worth noting that these families had lived in the Jazeera region in north-eastern Syria.

SOHR sources confirmed on December 15 that Al-Hawl camp’s administration is preparing to evacuate 300 other persons from the camp, mostly from Aleppo.

On December 10, SOHR sources said that the administration of al-Hawl camp, and by the Syrian Democratic Council’s initiative, began preparations to release 105 families of some 350 people from Al-Hawl camp in Al-Hasakah countryside.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the majority of the families who would be released were residents from the city of Al-Tabaqa and other areas in Raqqa province.

On November 24, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that 90 families of some 350 persons from Deir Ezzor city and countryside left Al-Hawl camp in the far eastern region of Al-Hasakah this evening, under Autonomous Administration’s supervision.

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that tens of families packed up headed towards the main entrance of “Al-Hawl mini-state” this morning, preparing to leave.

Also, the camp’s administration had opened several offices for registering the names of families who wanted to leave the camp, after providing documents confirming that they hailed from the areas they wanted to leave to.
