Murder | Uncertainty surrounds the death of Pakistani member of Iranian militias near Al-Bokamal

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: A Pakistani member of the Iranian militias was found dead in Al-Bokamal city, where he later was buried a cemetery specified for the fatalities of Iranian militias in Al-Suway’ah village in the south-east of Al-Bokamal city.

 

Local sources have confirmed that the member was affiliated to “Zaynabiyoun” militias, and he was found hanged at a military post on the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city, while the circumstances of his death remained unknown.

 

On December 17, SOHR sources documented the death of an Iranian engineer after being shot by the guards at Al-Taym oil field’s main gate in the south of Deir Ezzor city in areas under the control of regime forces and Iranian militias.

 

According to SOHR sources, a disagreement took place between a group of engineers and the guards who refused to let the engineers to pass into the oil field, which evolved to a fight during which one of the guards opened fire on the engineers, injuring one and killing another.
