“Al-Hawl mini-state” | Unknown gunmen assassinate Iraqi refugee in front of his tent

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have confirmed that unknown gunmen assassinated an Iraqi refugee in front of his tent in the third section of Al-Hawl camp, which is allocated for the Iraqi refugees in eastern Al-Hasakah. According to SOHR sources, the victim had “collaborated” with SDF intelligence.

It is worth noting that today’s assassination is the eighth one of its kind against Iraqi refugees collaborating with SDF and Al-Hawl Camp’s civil administration since early November.

On December 10, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen shot dead an Iraqi refugee while leaving the mosque at the forth section allocated for the Syrian refugees in “Al-Hawl mini-state” in the eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah. According to SOHR sources, the victim was a “collaborator” with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish).

It is worth noting that individual liquidations are escalating in “Al-Hawl mini-state”, targeting “collaborators” with the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and women who refuse to follow Islam’s strict doctrines ordered by female ISIS members and top commanders held in the camp.
