Aleppo | Turkish forces shell positions in Kurdish-held areas

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists say that Turkish forces shelled, with artillery, the perimeter of Menagh military airbase and Tal Rifat which are under the control of Turkish forces. However, no casualties have been reported so fat.

 

On Wednesday, SOHR activists documented the death of a child after being hit with an indiscriminate shot by heavy machinegun on the outskirts of Azaz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo. This incident coincided with clashes on the frontlines of Mar’naz town in the west of Azaz city between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions.

 

On the other hand, Turkish forces shelled positions in Mar’naz village with artillery. Similarly, on December 21, SOHR sources reported artillery shelling Turkish forces have shelled, with artillery, Kurdish positions in Mar’naz and Al-Alqamiyyah towns in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
