Arrested earlier on various charges | SDF releases seven people from Al-Shuhayl town in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that the SDF released seven people from the town of Shuhayl in Deir ez-Zor countryside, who were arrested earlier under various pretexts.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that the Syrian Democratic Forces raided the village of Abu Al-Nitel in northern countryside of Deir al-Zour, and arrested seven people, including three members of one family, without knowing the reasons for the arrest to date.

Observatory sources have confirmed that all the detainees were civilians.

Meanwhile, SDF continued its security campaign which extended to the village of Al-Namliya near Abu Al-Nitel and from there headed to the desert in the area, without knowing the results of their campaigns there.

Three days ago, SOHR sources said that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) raided the neighbourhood of Al-Katif in the town of Al-Shuhay, located in Deir ez-Zor countryside, and tried to arrest a civilian from the area. However, the man tried to escape during the raid, while SDF opened fire on him, seriously injuring him and was taken to hospital and then died of his wounds sustained.

It is worth nothing that the victim works at water smuggling crossings between the SDF-held areas and the Syrian regime-held areas.
