“De-escalation zone” | Russian jets pound Kabana hills in northern Latakia, and four Russian jets fly over the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored Russian jets executing two airstrikes on Kabana frontlines in Jabal al-Akrad in northern countryside of Latakia, coinciding with the flight of four Russian fighter jets over the area of “Putin-Erdogan.”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this morning a new round of ground bombardment within the area of “Putin-Erdogan.” Regime forces shelled areas in Al-Fatira, al-Bara and Flifel in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern countryside of Idlib, and San in eastern Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying the over the areas of Jabal Al-Akrad, north of Latakia, and Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported intensive rocket attacks by regime forces on towns and villages of Jabal Al-Zawiyah. Syrian Observatory activists documented over 130 rockets and artillery shells pounding positions in Al-Faterah, Sfuhen, Al-Bara and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib. On the other hand, a fighter of opposition factions was killed in bombardment on Al-Faterah.
