Ceasefire violations | Regime forces renew rocket attacks on towns and villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored reconnaissance drones flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, along with renewed rocket fire by regime forces on Kansafrah, Al-Faterah and other towns and villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. No casualties have been reported so far.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that opposition factions managed to repel an infiltration attempt by regime forces on the frontline of Afes village, east of Idlib city, where intensive exchange of heavy machine-gun fire took place and lasted for hours.

 

Meanwhile, regime forces renewed their artillery shelling on the villages and frontlines of Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, but no casualties were reported.

 

SOHR activists said earlier that “al-Fateh al-Mubin” operations room targeted, with artillery shells, regime positions in Al-Malaja and al-Dar Al-Kabir in southern Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, regime forces shelled the villages of Sfuhen, Al-Fatira and the surrounding areas of Kansafra town in Jabal al-Zawiyah, along with clashes on frontlines of south Idlib countryside.
