Turkish rocket attack | Forces shell from their territories areas controlled by SDF and regime forces in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan)

Hasaka governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening an intensive rocket attack by Turkish forces on areas controlled by SDF and regime forces in Abu Rasin (Zarkan) countryside in Hasakeh province.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the shelling originated from Turkish territory as well as Turkish bases on frontlines in the area, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that Turkish forces shelled the perimeter of Abu Racine (Zarkan) in the SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah countryside. The Syrian Observatory has monitored clashes on frontlines of the village of Al-Dardara between SDF and Turkish-backed factions, coinciding with exchange of artillery and rocket attacks between the two sides. No casualties were reported so far.

In this context, the village has witnessed civilian exodus to safer areas.
