After harassing a lady in camps in north | Civilians assault Turkish-backed police officer

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that a group of civilians beat a Turkish-backed police officer after he harassed a woman in al-Bal camp in Souran, north of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory has obtained voice recordings belong to a leader of Al-Fatih Brigade of the 3rd Corps, insulting one of the displaced people of the camp inhabitants in the areas held by Turkish-backed factions.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported altercation and growing popular tension “Al-Qatri” camp in Shamarin in Aleppo countryside, between officials of the camp’s administration and inhabitants over the administration’s decision, ordering distribution of in-kind materials instead of a sum of money of an estimated 120 USD. It is worth noting that Turkish-backed police intervened to defuse the tension and control security, after gunfire had occurred.

On December 23, SOHR sources reported violent clashes among Turkish-backed factions near Al-Nour refugee camp in Shamarin town in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The clashes erupted between members of “Al-Mu’tasim Division”, who tried to arrest a displaced boy from Tal Rifat town inside Al-Nour camp, and members of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah” who prevented them from arresting the boy.

The clashes left several people injured and caused material damage, while the camp’s inhabitants called upon the military police to intervene and break up the clashes between both sides.
