Al-Hasakah city | NDF member throws grenade on patrol of “criminal security service” in crowded market, injuring many

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a member of the “National Defence Forces” (NDF) threw a grenade on a patrol of the “criminal security service” in Felastin street in the security zone, which is under the control of regime forces in Al-Hasakah city. The attack left 20 civilians injured, some seriously, as they were shopping at a crowded outdoors market in the street. The injured civilians were taken to Al-Lu’lu’a hospital in Al-Hasakah city. It is worth noting that regime forces blocked Felastin street and closed shops just after the attack, while the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) were seen on high alert in Al-Hasakah city.
