IED attack | Explosion kills five people, including woman and her two children in Ras al-Ain

Al-Hasaka governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the death of four civilians. They are: a woman and her two children from Damascus, and a man, in addition to the killing of a member of the Turkish-backed factions and the wounding of seven others, some seriously, as an IED exploded in a car at al-Jawza roundabout near the vegetable market, south-west of Ras al-Ain.

Hours ago, Observatory activists have reported an explosion in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye), which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in Al-Hasakah countryside. The explosion was caused by detonating a car-bomb near the city’s local outdoors market, which killed five persons at least, including a child and a woman. The explosion, which caused substantial material damage, also injured four other persons, some seriously, which may raise the death toll.

On December 20, SOHR activists documented the death of four people, a fighters of the “20th Division”, a fighter of “Al-Mu’tasim Division” and two civilian (a man and a woman). They were killed in an IED explosion in Ras Al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in Al-Hasakah countryside in the “Peace Spring” areas.
