With military movements of Turkish-backed fighters | Turkish forces shell Manbij Military Council positions in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored military movements of infantry fighters of Turkish-backed factions near the Hamran crossing opposite the Um Jaloud crossing, which is under the control of the SDF’s the Military Council of Manbij forces, coinciding with a drone attack on oil trucks near the crossing, resulting in material damage.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces have shelled the positions of the Manbij Military Council in Um Jaloud and Um Adassa in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported so far.

On December 30, the Syrian Observatory monitored clashes with medium and heavy weapons between Turkish-backed factions and the Manbij Military Council forces on al-Sajour line, east of Aleppo, coinciding with artillery shelling by Turkish-backed factions, targeting the villages of Al-Toukhar, Aoun al-Dadat, Mahsali and Jarad. No casualties were reported.
