Security chaos in Al-Hawl camp | Iraqi refugee shot dead by unknown assailants

Al-Hasakah Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that a refugee of Iraqi nationality was shot dead, while standing in front of her tent in the fifth section of the Al-Hawl camp, as part of the ongoing security chaos in the camp in the south-eastern countryside of Hasaka.

On December 25, 2020, unidentified gunmen assassinated an Iraqi refugee in front of his tent, in the third section of the Al-Hawl camp allocated for Iraqi refugees, east of Hasakah. According to Syrian Observatory sources, the victim was collaborating with SDF intelligence.
