West of Aleppo | Displaced woman and two of her children injured in explosion in their tent

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the injury of a woman and two of her children, as an unidentified object exploded in their primitive heater inside their tent in al-Bir camp in western countryside of Aleppo. According to Syrian Observatory sources, the family, whose tent was burned down, rely on burning waste for heating.

On September 4, 2020, Syrian Observatory sources have reported that several tents caught fire in the early hours of Friday morning, in “Bab Al-Salama” camp in northern Aleppo. The fire brigades managed to extinguish the fires, while no casualties have been reported. However, at least 15 families became homeless after their tents had burnt down, worsening the inhumane situation of these displaced people.
