Aleppo | Turkish forces shell Kurdish positions in northern countryside

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Turkish forces stationed in “Al-Bohous” base have shelled Kurdish positions in Mar’naz, Menagh military airbase and its perimeter in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Meanwhile, clashes erupted last night between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on Ain Daqnah frontlines, but no casualties have been reported.

 

On January 2, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces shelled, with heavy artillery, the outskirts of Tal Rifaat town, Al-Shahbaa dam, Samouqah and Al-Nayrabiyyah village, in areas under the control of Kurdish forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

On the other hand, the frontlines of Hazawan experienced exchange of sniper fire and attacks between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions.
