Regime attack | Forces renew ground shelling on “de-escalation zone”, targeting five towns in southern Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, in the early hours of Saturday morning, a rocket attack by regime forces on Idlib countryside, targeting with rocket-propelled grenades and artillery areas in Al-Fatira, Safohin, Kansafra, and the perimeter of Fleifel and Benin. No casualties have been reported.

Apart from that, tense calm prevails throughout the “de-escalation zone”, while reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the “Putin-Erdogan” area.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of a regime soldier, after being sniped by opposition factions on the frontlines of Al-Malajah village in Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, a regime soldier was killed and others were injured in bombardment and exchange of fire with opposition factions on frontlines of Latakia countryside, as the factions fired several mortars on Qal’at Shalaf frontlines in Jabal Al-Akrad.

Also, exchange of fire took place on several frontlines in jabal Al-Turkman, along with regime bombardment on Shamrouran and Qarrah Jaghi village in the northern countryside of Latakia.
