Regime repression | “State Security Branch” arrests several people for “working in money exchange and remittances” in northern Daraa

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that a patrol of the regime’s “State Security” has arrested three people in Al-Hara area in the northern countryside of Daraa for “working in money exchange and remittances”. According to SOHR sources, the arrested people were taken to “State Security Branch” in Daraa city.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that regime forces established a new checkpoint between Al-Na’imah and Um Al-Mayazen towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa. Regime forces also boosted the checkpoint with nearly 15 members of the “15th Divisions” as well as a “T52” tank. Meanwhile, new reinforcement was brought in to other checkpoints affiliated to regime forces in the eastern countryside of Daraa in the past few days. This development coincided with the escalating security chaos throughout Daraa and daily assassinations which targeted military personnel and regime “collaborators.
