Northern Aleppo countryside | Unknown gunmen target vehicle of leader of Turkish-backed Al-Jabha al-Shamiya

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that unidentified gunmen targeted with machine guns a car of a leader of the Al-Jabha al-Shamiya on al-Massoudia – Akhtarin road in northern Aleppo countryside, slightly injuring him with his companion.

Meanwhile, military police found three IEDs intended to detonate in Al-Bab, Jarabulus and Azaz within the areas held by Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo countryside.

On January 9, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the “engineering team” of the police in the city of Al-Bab, was able to dismantle an improvised explosive device (IED) placed inside a bag by a woman near the Centre roundabout in the center of the city of Al-Bab, which is controlled by Turkish forces and proxy factions in north-eastern Aleppo countryside.

On January 7, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new assassination in the areas controlled by the “Euphrates Shield” operations room in Aleppo countryside. One person was killed and others were injured after being shot by unknown gunmen in Al-Corniche street in the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo.

On January 6, Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a media activists sustained serious injuries after being shot by unknown gunmen on Kurnish street in Al-Bab city, which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in eastern Aleppo.
