Israeli attacks | Intensive airstrikes target military positions of regime forces and Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor

Syrian Observatory activists have reported hearing loud explosions due to bombardment believed to be caused by Israeli airstrikes on Ayyash warehouses and Sa’ka camp on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city as well as other warehouses and headquarters in Al-Mayadeen and Al-Bokamal deserts. SOHR sources have confirmed that the area between Deir Ezzor city and the Syria-Iraq border in Al-Mayadeen and Al-Bokamal deserts was hit with over 18 airstrikes.

It is worth noting that members of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Lebanese Hezbollah and “Fatemiyoun” are stationed in these positions which host a centre for training fighters. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the attack, amid confirmed reports of the destruction of weapons warehouses.
