Deir Ezzor protests | Residents and students stage vigil, condemning SDF’s ongoing deployment in school in eastern countryside

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have monitored students and their parents holding a vigil in front of a school in Abu Hamam town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, expressing rejection of ongoing deployment of Syria Democratic Forces in the school which SDF turned it into military headquarters, although the students are still studying in the school. The residents also called upon the International Coalition to force SDF to get out the school.

 

On January 9, Observatory sources  monitored a new demonstration by dozens of residents in Abu Hamam town in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, calling on the SDF to cancel mandatory conscription and fight corruption in the institutions of the “Autonomous Administration”.
