“De-escalation zone” | Tense calm prevails throughout the area interrupted by regime rocket fire on southern Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tense calm prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” since yesterday evening interrupted by regime rocket fire on positions in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen and Kansafrah in jabal Al-Zawiyah in south Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported. Meanwhile reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the region.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources documented the deaths of three regime soldiers and loyalists and the injury of seven others, after regime position in al-Zaytoun camp in the north of Hazarin village in Idlib countryside was shelled by home-made rockets fired by the “Ansar al-Tawhid” jihadist faction.

 

The Syrian Observatory also documented the death of a regime lieutenant, as the factions targeted regime positions near the village of Jobas in Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, regime forces shelled the village of Al-Fatira in Idlib countryside, killing several sheep.
