Deir ez-Zor | IED explodes near SDF checkpoint in eastern countryside

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that an IED planted by unknown assailants exploded near a checkpoint belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on al-Sanour road in the town of Abu Hammam, east of Deir al-Zour, slightly injuring a member of the checkpoint.

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of a prominent dignitary of “Al-Bakeer” tribe, after being shot by two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle in Al-Izbah area in the north of Deir Ezzor city in SDF-held areas. It is worth noting that the victim is from Al-Busayrah in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

On the other hand, a prominent dignitary of Al-Boferyo tribe sustained injuries yesterday, after unknown gunmen shot him in Abu Al-Naytal village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
